TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The Hang Tough foundation needs help making sure children with compromised immune systems are taken care of during the coronavirus pandemic.
They run on donations that help support families of those children with compromised immune systems.
Due to the virus it's been difficult for parents to leave their children to go buy basic needs.
Some of the things that are needed are cleaning wipes, diapers, hand sanitizer, and soap.
Hang Tough's executive director, Janelle Irwin, hopes the community will continue to help, as she knows how much the support means to families in the community.
"The gratitude is immense," said Irwin. "Just the thoughtfulness of the community to help with things like this. Until you've lived life with a child that's very vulnerable, especially in times like these, you can't understand the feelings of being scared and lonely at this time."
