THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WTXL) — Across Georgia, 35,000 health care workers have tested positive for COVID-19, and one organization is working to make sure their hard work and sacrifice don't go unnoticed.

Hands-on Thomas County began feeding health care workers last year at the peak of the pandemic. Now, Community leaders need your help to keep the tradition going.

"We have reinvigorated the team meals for the different departments at Archbald Hospital and we've also opened up what we are calling do it yourself smile cards where people can create cards letters or posters that will be delivered throughout February to the different health care department as well," said Angela Kiminas, Executive Director of Hands On Thomas County.

You can sign up to donate to either through the end of the month by contacting Hands on Thomas County.
