HAMILTON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — The Florida Department of Health has confirmed the first positive case of coronavirus in Hamilton County.
The case was confirmed in a 56-year-old woman on Monday morning.
At this time, we don't know if this is a travel related case or if the person has been hospitalized.
The Department of Health in Hamilton County is now conducting a contact investigation and working on notifying individuals who will need to self-monitor for symptoms for 14 days.
