TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — When one door closes, another one opens. That's exactly the case with one local restaurant.
Great Plates expanded its operations to a second location where Chi Chi's Cafe was on Tennessee Street.
It's no easy feat for any restaurant to open up a second location during this pandemic. However, the owner of Great Plates says their focus on pickup and delivery helped grow their business.
"I was already focusing on delivery," said Luis Guerrero, the owner of Great Plates. "So when everybody had to change and switch up to pick up and delivery, so it didn't affect us at all. It kind of drove more customers inside."
