TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Governor's Square Mall in Tallahassee will reopen on Friday, May 8 after temporarily closing due to COVID-19 concerns.
According to Brookfield Properties, the parent company who owns Governor's Square, the mall is set to reopen on May 8.
As far as what restrictions will be in place when the mall reopens, officials have not released details on that yet, though they said those restrictions will be publicly released on the mall's website.
"While closely monitoring the direction from Governor DeSantis, we are diligently working on plans to safely reopen our shopping center. The well-being of our guests, tenants and employees is our highest priority," Brooksfield Properties wrote in a statement sent to ABC 27 on Monday.
The mall closed in March due to coronavirus concerns.
