TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Goodwill is hoping to fill positions across the Big Bend by the end of the day on Tuesday.
On Regional Hiring Day, if you walk into a Goodwill looking for a job, there's a good chance that you will walk out with one.
Right now 900 people work the Goodwill, but there are 60 jobs left to fill.
Many of the jobs they're looking to fill include working in the warehouse, management, and retail.
Goodwill managers will interview people as they come through and possibly offer jobs on the spot.
"What most people don't know about Good Will is that their actually all about jobs. Job training, skill training so most people know Good Will because of the thrift stores," said Tom Derzypolski, Spokesperson for Goodwill. "But the money that we earn there goes directly into the training program that we use to employee 900 people in the region."
The event lasts until 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, so you still have time to come on out.
You can visit any store in our area to get started.
And if you miss out Tuesday, you can still stop by any Goodwill to check for available opportunities.
