GEORGIA (WTXL) — Governor Brian P. Kemp and his wife are in quarantine after coming into contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19.

Kemp’s press secretary, Cody Hall tweeted that the governor and the First Lady were recently exposed to "an individual who received a positive test result for COVID-19.

Kemp and his wife have taken COVID-19 tests and are awaiting results, according to Hall's tweet.

“Upon notification, the Governor and the First Lady received at COVID-19 test,” the statement said.
