GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — Gadsden County has announced the following holiday closures and service changes in observance of the Fourth of July.
Closed Thursday, July 4
- Gadsden County Offices
- Gadsden County Libraries (all branches)
- Gadsden County Public Works
- Gadsden County Mosquito Control
- Gadsden County Animal Control
Remain Open for the Holidays
- Gadsden County parks and recreation facilities (parks and boat landings)
Additional Service Information
The William A. McGill Library in Quincy and the Havana and Chattahoochee Public Library branches will be closed Thursday, July 4 and resume operating hours on Friday, July 5 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Saturday, July 6, all library branches will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
In the event of an animal-related emergency, service is available by calling the Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office at (850) 875-8811. Gadsden County Animal Control encourages residents to only use this service in cases of dangerous or aggressive dogs, sick or injured domestic animals, animal cruelty or animal bites. Injured wildlife calls will be forwarded to the St. Francis Wildlife Association at (850) 627-4151.
