TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — One of those fans headed to Omaha considers himself one of FSU's biggest supporters.

For Florida State fan, John Mcallister, baseball is all he's ever known.

"Growing up as a kids, my dad took me out of high school when the NY Yankees came to play here," said Mcallister. "My dad took my brother and I out of school to watch Florida State Baseball play the Yankees. As a kid that's a big deal."

As time goes on, his support for the Seminoles just keeps getting stronger.

"Last year we had 39 home games. I went to all 39 of them. This year It was very disappointing not being able to make it to every game," said Mcallister.

At the games he attends, Mcallister has one goal, to make sure the team knows he's there.

"I sit with a group of fans called the Animals of Section B. If you haven't heard of us, you will when we get to Omaha," said Mcallister.

Whether FSU baseball is hitting home-runs or foul balls, Mcallister is behind them the whole way.

"If that team is out there putting forth that effort, then we have to do the same thing in the stands to make sure we are behind them 100 percent," said Mcallister.

It's an effort that surprised their fans, taking them all the way to the College World Series.

"I'm super excited. I wish I could of went as soon as Baton Rogue was over," said Mcallister. "I bet the team was ready to go there as well, but as soon as the game was over, I was ready to go to Omaha."

This will be Mcallister's first trip to Omaha and we know he has to be pretty excited.
