FSU student robbed at gunpoint by three suspects, TPD investigating

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The Tallahassee Police Department is investigating an early morning armed robbery that happened Tuesday on Lafayette Street.

FSU police say at approximately 12:40 a.m., three unknown male suspects robbed the victim, a current FSU student in the 700 block of Lafayette Street.

The suspects brandished a tan handgun with an extended magazine in front of victim then took their wallet, keys, and cell phone.

There were no reported injuries to the victim.

All three suspects were described as black males, wearing all dark clothing, and appeared to be college-aged.

Police say the primary suspect wore a black hoodie, shorts, and was the one who brandished the handgun.
