TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Fresh 4 Less, the family-owned grocery store in Tallahassee is taking the necessary precautions against the threat of coronavirus.

The company has increased its disinfecting standards and cut down on the amount of time it takes to restock high-demand products.

Last week, Fresh 4 Less held a meeting with its entire staff to provide additional training.

Fresh 4 Less says they are committed to cleanliness, and has tripled its disinfecting standards across all store departments and at the cash registers, including supplying every cashier with hand sanitizer.

In addition, the store is offering a solution to shoppers who may feel uncomfortable being in a public space.

Fresh 4 Less’ online ordering service, which was launched last month, allows customers to shop for groceries from the comfort of their own homes.

Shoppers who place an online order can schedule pickup seven days a week, including a same-day option.

Curbside pickup is provided at no additional charge, and a team member will load the order into the customer’s car, eliminating any chance of physical contact with another person.

Customers can order groceries online by visiting the store's website and clicking, “Shop Online.”
