FRANKLIN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — A Franklin County Schools assistant coach and substitute teacher is accused of giving alcohol to underage students, battery and exchanging inappropriate photos with female students.

On Friday, the Franklin County Sheriff's Office received a call from the Franklin County School administration reporting that Troy "Jayden" Larkin, 23, was found to have been giving underage students alcohol and tobacco products, investigators said.

Upon further investigation, Larkin was found not only to be giving out alcohol but had also befriended many students on various social media platforms.

From there, FCSO investigators also learned that Larkin and a few female students had shared nude and proactive photographs of each other.

In one statement, a juvenile female told investigators that Larkin had unsolicited, rubbed her back in a flirtatious manner.

Investigators used this information to get a search warrant for the home of Larkin and recovered the electronic devices used in the alleged transactions.

Larkin was arrested and then confessed to the accusations, investigators said.

He was booked for battery on the juvenile female, contributing alcoholic beverages to underage minors and distributing obscene material to minors, a felony in Florida.

FCSO asks that if you have any further information on this case or others involving such activity, please call (850) 670-8500.
