FRANKLIN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — Health care is quickly becoming out of reach for a lot of people. And for inmates, it can be even more complicated when you're serving time behind bars.

The Franklin County Jail is looking to change that by offering telemedicine, which is the ability for a person to receive a video call from a doctor to get the medical diagnosis they need.

It's estimated that a total of 76 percent of hospitals use use telemedicine throughout the U.S.
