TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — 'Tis the season of giving and Leon County Schools experienced it firsthand Wednesday in a big way.
The Ballard Partners Firm donated $50,000 towards the Foundation for Leon County Schools.
The donation will go towards children within the Leon County School System and their families in efforts to provide them with Christmas toys, as well as any other needs they need to be met.
"To be able to provide this fabulous donation to Leon County Schools, to their families and their kids; even though we are a national firm, we have hometown roots," said Carol Bracy, a managing partner at The Ballard Partners Firm.
"These kind of gifts you just can't measure.," said Eric Clark, the executive director of Foundation for Leon County Schools. "It's unbelievable the things you're able to do with this kind of donation. And we really do appreciate it, and will put it to good use."
The Ballard Partners Firm donated the same amount to the district last year.
