TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Florida's unemployment website is down again and will be until at least Monday according to a message posted on the Department of Economic Opportunity's CONNECT website Friday morning.
The message reads, “Welcome to CONNECT, Florida’s Online Application for Reemployment Assistance. CONNECT is currently processing payments. We apologize for the inconvenience. CONNECT will be available at 8:00 a.m. Monday, April 27.”
As of April 23, more than 1.8 million unemployment claims have been filed. Of those, just over 31 percent have been processed since March 15 and just under 22 percent claimants have been paid on those claims.
