Florida Department of Health reports 25 COVID-19 cases in Leon County

LEON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — The Florida Department of Health has reported one new positive case of coronavirus in Leon County, bringing the total amount of cases reported to 25.

According to the Tuesday morning update from FDOH, a 22-year-old woman is the latest Leon County resident to test positive for COVID-19. Data shows that the woman recently went to Georgia before testing positive.

A total of 21 Leon County residents have tested positive for COVID-19. So far, FDOH reports 599 people have been tested for COVID-19 in the county, with 574 negative tests reported.

The number of people tested throughout the county is likely much higher than that as tests here and across the state are still pending results.
