(WTXL) — Update, Monday 10 p.m.: Jackson County Schools will be closed Tuesday, August 17.
Update, Monday 3:30 p.m.: Wakulla County cancels school for Tuesday, August 17, due to conditions from Tropical Storm Fred.
Update, Monday 2:20 p.m.: Madison County Schools will be closed Tuesday, August 17 due to flooding concerns.
Update, Monday 1:45 p.m.: Decatur County schools will be closed Tuesday, August 17.
Update, 9:04 p.m.: Mitchell, Baker, and Miller County schools will be closed Monday, August 16. Spring Creek Charter Academy in Bainbridge will close Monday.
Update, 7: 26 p.m.: Leon County Schools will be closed Monday, August 16.
Update, 6 p.m.: Jackson County has also canceled school for Monday, August 16.
As of 4:39 p.m. August 15, four Florida counties are canceling school Monday, August 16, due to Tropical Storm Fred.
These counties are Franklin, Wakulla, Gadsden and Liberty.
