BAINBRIDGE, Ga. (WTXL) — The Flint River's water levels have reached 30 feet, prompting road closures until further notice in the city of Bainbridge.
Earle May Boat Basin, Cheney Griffin Park, and Hatcher Road are currently closed to car traffic and will remain closed until further notice.
Bainbridge Public Safety is asking drivers not to go around the barricades placed on the roads.
As of 12:45 PM Monday, observed water levels at the Flint River have reached 30 ft. The river is expect to crest around the current height and gradually decrease afterward.
