LEON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — The Florida Department of Health has confirmed the first COVID-19 related death in Leon County.
FDOH says the individual was a 62-year-old man that had previously tested positive for COVID-19.
As of 11 a.m. on Friday, Leon County now has 164 confirmed COVID-19 cases.
This is the first confirmed COVID-19 related death and 21 residents have been hospitalized, according to FDOH.
