TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Florida Highway Patrol is investigating after a 64-year-old man from Tallahassee was killed in a crash in Suwannee County Tuesday.
According to FHP, the crash occurred on Nov. 3 at 12:50 p.m. on westbound I-10 at Mile Marker 285 in Suwannee County.
FHP says the 64-year-old man was driving a truck, traveling west on I-10 in the outside travel lane behind a tractor-trailer.
The tractor-trailer driver slowed for the traffic ahead, the driver of the truck did not slow down and rear-ended the trailer.
Both vehicles came to final rest in the outside travel lane facing west.
At this time, troopers have not released the victim's name.
