TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Troopers say a man has died after being hit by a car while walking on West Tennessee Street Monday night.
According the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash happened on Monday around 9:30 p.m. on West Tennessee Street and Junco Court.
FHP says the pedestrian was not using a crosswalk when the vehicle hit him just east of the intersection.
After the crash, he was transported to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced deceased at 9:57 p.m.
Authorities say the driver did not appear to be under the influence and did not sustain any injuries during the accident.
