GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — Troopers say a 20-year-man is dead after he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into several trees during an accident in Gadsden County on Sunday night.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened Sunday around 9:58 p.m. on U.S. Highway 90 just west of State Road 12.
FHP says a Honda Accord was traveling westbound on U.S. Hwy 90 when the driver suddenly traveled off of the roadway and onto the northern shoulder.
After exiting the road, the car crashed into several trees.
Troopers say the driver sustained fatal injuries as a result of the crash.
The driver was identified as 20-year-old Z'hry Green of Quincy.
The Florida Highway Patrol was assisted on scene by Gadsden County EMS, Gadsden County Fire Rescue, and Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office.
