Troopers say one man is dead and another is seriously injured after a crash on I-10 in Suwannee County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 6:15 p.m. Wednesday on I-10 EB near mile marker 284.
They say the passenger David Plaisance , 63, of Deltona died from injuries sustained in the accident.
Troopers say Kevin Potter, 29, was driving down I-10 and for unknown reasons, his car ran off the road and hit a tree. Potter was transported to a local with serious injuries.
At this time authorities are currently investigating whether alcohol was a factor in the crash and troopers say charges are pending.
