HAMILTON COUNTY, Fla. — Troopers are investigating after one person was killed during a early morning crash in Hamilton County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened Sunday around 3:30 a.m. on County Road 25A .
FHP says a Sedan was traveling south on County Road 25A and failed to stop at the intersection of Stephen Foster Drive.
After traveling across Stephen Foster Drive onto the east shoulder of County Road 25A, the front of the Sedan collided with a tree.
After the crash the vehicle became engulfed in flames.
Troopers say the driver suffered fatal injuries as a result of this crash.
At this time, the identity of the driver is still under investigation.
