JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — A Graceville man is dead after being hit by a car on State Road 2 Thursday night.
The Florida Highway Patrol said it happened on S.R. 2, just east of Ezel Road around 11:35 p.m. on Thursday.
They said the 35-year-old man was walking in the middle of the westbound lane when an SUV hit him.
The man, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
FHP is now investigating the crash. No charges have been filed against the driver at this time.
