FHP: Crash on Tram Road leaves 3 dead, 1 hospitalized

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating after a car accident on Tram Road Friday evening left three dead and one in seriously injured.

According to their report, Tallahassee police responded to the crash at approximately 10 p.m.

They said the vehicle was going down Tram Road when, for unknown reasons, it turned off the right side of the road onto the shoulder and began hitting the edge of the treeline.

Troopers said the car then collided with a tree, splitting the car in half.

Two people were pronounced dead at the scene while two others were transported to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, where one later died from their injuries.

The passengers that were killed were all from Tallahassee and include two men, aged 25 and 20, and a 20-year-old woman.

The driver, a 20-year-old man from Tallahassee, remains hospitalized in serious condition.
