TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — An exciting time for animal lovers and the Tallahassee Museum: Fennec Foxes are now on display at the museum.
Twice a year, the Museum's Guest Animal Exhibit hosts exotic wildlife from around the world, so our community has an opportunity to explore and educate themselves about the differences and similarities between them and the displays of native animals.
" We like to bring in animals that we can compare and contrast to our native animals," said Suzie Buzzo, Tallahassee Museum animal curator. "So, we have grey foxes and red foxes on the trail. These guys are very similar, just a lot smaller. They dig dense underground, they're mostly nocturnal, they do their hunting at night. And we have a really large exhibit for them. "
You can see all the foxes on display at the Tallahassee Museum on Museum Road starting Friday.
