(WTXL) — The Florida Department of Health in Jefferson and Madison counties is conducting free COVID-19 testing during the month of September.
Health officials say their goal is to test 2% of the population each month.
No appointment, signs or symptoms are needed to be tested.
In addition, children can be tested with parent or guardian present.
When individuals arrive at the site officials say the should park and walk up to the registration table to start the testing process.
Nursing staff will perform COVID-19 testing at the times and locations listed.
Antibody testing and rapid testing are not available at these test sites.
FDOH says test results will be available in 2-3 days.
Below are the testing sites and dates:
- RJ Bailer Library 375 S. Water Street Monticello, FL 32344. Open September 2, from 8:00 a.m. – noon.
- Haffye Hayes Park US 90 and Pitt Street Greenville, Florida 32331. Open September 2, from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m.
