LEON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — The Florida Department of Health in Leon County has opened a call center to answer community questions about COVID-19.

To contact the call center, call 866-779-6121.

The call center is part of health officials' effort to get information out to residents. The line is intended to help answer general questions related to COVID-19 as well as to provide guidance to callers who may be experiencing symptoms of the virus.

There are still no confirmed cases of coronavirus in Leon County.

The phone line is staffed on weekdays from 8 am to 5 pm. The number for the call center is 850-404-6300.

Individuals who call after hours can leave a message and someone will get back to them. Callers who may wish to speak with someone right away are advised to call the Florida Department of Health’s COVID-19 call center, which is now open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
