PERRY, Fla. (WTXL) — The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has arrested a 61-year-old Perry man on eight counts of possession of child pornography.
FDLE agents say they arrested Wayne Lee Phillips after receiving a cybertip from the National Centers for Missing and Exploited Children.
Authorities executed a search warrant at Phillips’ residence with the assistance of the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office.
During the search, investigators found child pornography which featured children as young as three years old.
Based on evidence, Phillips was booked into the Taylor County Jail.
FDLE says additional charges are dependent upon completion of forensic exams.
The case will be prosecuted by the State Attorney’s Office, Third Judicial Circuit.
