QUINCY, Fla. (WTXL) — The Florida Department of Law Enforcement says they have arrested a man in Quincy for possession of child pornography.

FDLE agents, with assistance from the Gadsden County Sheriff's Office, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and Enforcement Removal Operations (ERO), arrested Irving Mendoza, 42, of Quincy for 15 counts of possession of child pornography.

In September 2019, FDLE began investigating tips regarding someone uploading child pornography. Their investigation revealed that Mendoza was responsible for uploading numerous images of child pornography, involving children between four and six years old.

During his arrest, agents discovered that Mendoza is an undocumented Mexican national who's been living in the United States illegally.

Mendoza was booked into the Gadsden County Jail. He is being held in jail without bond.
