PERRY, Fla. — The Florida Department of Corrections says an inmate has died from an apparent inmate-on-inmate assault at Taylor Correctional Institution.
FDC said on July 22, Yannick Anderson was pronounced dead as a result of the assault.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is investigating this incident, with assistance from the FDC Office of Inspector General. This is an active homicide investigation.
FDC is unable to provide further information at this time.
