TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Father’s Day is right around the corner and one local assisted living facility kicked off the celebration a little early.

Engines roared at Harbor Chase assisted living of Tallahassee Thursday.

The facility asked members from groups like Tallahassee’s Jeep Lovers and others with cool rides to parade around the facility.

Signs wished every father there a Happy Fathers Day.

Workers say this was something to keep their residents smiling even while quarantined.

"This is a very cool way for us to stay isolated and stay separated right now and still be able to celebrate and show our appreciation for our seniors," said Amy Hume, the director of sales at Harbor Chase of Tallahassee. "So it’s been great and I’m so excited for the turnout.">

Fathers at Harbor Chase got a chance to see around 50 to 75 cars pass through today giving them best wishes.
