TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Fans gathered in Collegetown Sunday afternoon following the big announcement of Mike Norvell as new head football coach of the Florida State Seminoles.
Fans in Collegetown were excited for a new era for Seminoles football and are hopeful for the upcoming season.
People we talked to are just glad the search has finally come to an end and one fan says his expectations are plain and simple.
"I mean hopefully a little more W's. You know get the spirit back up at FSU. Gameday hasn't been the same this semester, so hopefully next year they'll bring it back up."
Other fans we spoke to are optimistic about Norvell, many saying they were impressed with what he was able to do with his time at Memphis.
One thing is for sure, fans just want to get back to winning seasons and sell out crowds at Doak Campbell Stadium.
