TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The president of Florida A&M University gave his annual State of the University Tuesday, showcasing the university's achievements over the past three years.
Larry Robinson talked about how FAMU is number one in black and Hispanic doctoral degrees, highlighted the nursing school's 100 percent graduation rate and gave credit to his faculty for university's the continued success.
Robinson says that this speech is to inspire the students and staff.
"I just hope that somehow I inspired them to continue the great work that they are doing," said Robinson. "That's what this is really about. It's not a formal pep rally, but it shows some very positive things that are happening."
