TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The president of Florida A&M University is encouraging student success.

During a luncheon Wednesday, FAMU's President Larry Robinson addressed the legislative funding priorities the university has this year to help improve student success.

At the top of his list, the school plans on using $13,000 for operational enhancements such as upgrading campus technology, increasing the amount of online courses, and hiring more advisers.

There is one factor he is looking at to determine the success of the school.

"It's the success of our students that we will rest our hats on to determine how well we are doing," said Dr. Robinson.

Another top priority on President Robinson's list is to invest more money on Agricultural Research and training.
