TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — A group of Rattlers took their singing talents to the national stage this weekend.

The Florida A&M Concert Choir sang along with music artist Tye Tribbett as part of BET's HBCU Homecoming special.

The online concert series is part of a global slate of new and returning projects focused on racial justice, amplifying Black voices, and elevating Black culture as Historically Black Colleges and Universities across the country cancel their annual Homecomings due to the global pandemic

FAMU choir member Darien Bolden, Jr. said he's still in a bit of shock.

"It's just too crazy to see we really accomplished this in about two days with choreography and getting music together," said Bolden. "We filmed in about four hours. It's crazy to see how it all came together for one production."

The Concert Choir said they will also release a new song this week.
