TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — A propane gas leak caused evacuations of businesses and homes on West Tennessee Street Tuesday evening.
The Tallahassee Police Department were on scene in the 1800 block of West Tennessee Street assisting the Tallahassee Fire Department and City of Tallahassee Utilities with a propane gas leak.
West Tennessee Street was briefly closed in the 1700-1800 blocks near Chipotle and Chick-fil-A.
A precautionary evacuation of businesses and homes in the surrounding area took place.
