TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The Tallahassee Police Department is investigating after a body was found at a Shell gas station on West Pensacola Street Wednesday morning.
According to employees, the gas station manager found the body when she arrived at work.
"Roughly around 5:45 [a.m.], my manager pulled up well she witnessed someone laying in the parking lot," said Penny Thompson, a cashier at the Shell station. "So, she texts all of us on the morning shift and told us to hurry up and get here because she was concerned. So, when I pulled up, I got out of the car, and me and her walked over. And I told her, well I said, 'it doesn't look like he's breathing,' and at the time we went ahead and called 911."
TPD says no foul play is suspected in this incident.
This is a developing story.
