TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Osceola County experienced historic numbers of rain from Hurricane Ian.

Leon County's Emergency Management team left last Monday to help coordinate emergency response resources, shelters, and aide with geographic responses. The 4 person team worked 12 hour shifts, providing relief to other teams who worked 11 days straight.

Director Kevin Peters felt they were more than prepared for the job.
