VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) — Early voting started Monday in the Valdosta run-off election.
The Mayoral-election is between J.D. Rice, who led Valdosta's mayoral race with 34.51percent of votes followed by Scott James Matheson, who had 24.91 percent of votes.
The winner in this race will replace John Gayle, who did not run for re-election.
You can vote at the Lowndes County Election Office at North Oak Street.
It's open Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. Next week, it's open Monday through Wednesday, 7 AM to 7 PM.
Election Day is Dec. 3.
