SUWANNEE COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — Authorities say a two-vehicle crash with injuries temporarily shut down Highway 129 in Suwannee County.
The crash occurred on the overpass in McAlpin at 4:29 a.m. on Friday morning.
According to Suwannee Fire Rescue, Highway 129 was temporarily closed for hours due to the crash.
The Florida Highway Patrol says two vehicles were traveling on Highway 129, when one of the vehicles veered off the roadway into a guardrail.
The vehicle then traveled into the other lane and crashed into another car.
Troopers say the crash caused both vehicles to become disabled.
As a result of the crash, both drivers were transported to local hospitals with serious injuries
At this time, authorities say charges are pending.
