MONTICELLO, Fla. (WTXL) — A driver has been taken to the hospital after crashing into a local school bus that was stopped at a stop sign.
Jefferson County Fire Rescue reports that the crash happened Friday around 2:40 p.m. in Monticello.
Officials say a school bus for Aucilla Christian Academy was stopped at the stop sign on Salt Road at Highway 90 when a car crashed into it.
The driver of the car was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
No one on the bus was injured.
