TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Deputies are searching for a suspect who stole a victim's wallet from local Walmart parking lot and used their credit card to make fraudulent purchases at businesses nearby.
According to Leon County deputies, a man stole the victim's wallet from the shopping cart in the parking lot of the Walmart on Apalachee Parkway back in September.
Two of the victim's credit cards were fraudulently used at nearby businesses within an hour after the wallet was removed from the shopping cart.
Walmart was unable to capture an image of the man's face but the woman who accompanied him entered Walmart after the incident and was captured on camera.
Deputies say it is unknown whether she is involved with the Fraudulent Use of Credit Cards , but she appeared to be accompanying the suspect and may know his identity.
