JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — Jackson County deputies are actively searching for a man who is accused of sexual misconduct with a 9-year-old child.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office says they received a report of alleged sexual misconduct involving a 9-year-old child in the Cypress community on Saturday night.

Deputies began an investigation and identified the suspect as Phillippe Grant Davison.

During the investigation, deputies determined that there was probable cause to believe the allegations were true.

Deputies say Davison had fled the scene prior to their arrival at his suspected location.

K-9 tracking teams from Apalachee Correctional Institute and Jackson Correctional Institute were called to help find Davison.

After an extensive search, deputies were unable to locate him.

Deputies obtained arrest warrants for Davison for the charges of Lewd and Lascivious Exhibition on a Child and Lewd and Lascivious Conduct on a Child.

Sheriff Roberts requests that anyone with information on Davison’s whereabouts contact the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office at 850-482-9648.
