Deputies: Man walked in with purse, walked out with $450 worth of items

LEON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — Leon County deputies are searching for a man who walked into a local Walmart with a red purse and stole more than $425 in merchandise.

It happened at the Walmart on North Monroe Street on Monday, March 25.

Around 4:45pm,, deputies say the individual in the video ran away from the store after stealing more than $425 in merchandise. They said he fled to the area of Old Bainbridge Road.

The suspect is an unknown black male in his early 20's who was wearing a tan jacket, red shorts, red flip flops, green fuzzy hat, and carrying a red purse.
