WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. — A man is facing additional charges in Wakulla County after deputies say they found 14 child pornographic videos involving him and a minor on his cellphone.
Richard Lewis Bubb III, aka “Richie Lewis" was arrested by the Wakulla County Sheriff's Office.
Bubb was originally arrested by WCSO in August for solicitation of a minor, transmission of child pornography, and the transmission of harmful material to a minor, after he allegedly sent nude photographs of himself to a 17-year-old.
WCSO stated performed sexual acts which were sent to the victim, encouraged her to do the same, and conversations / photographs were found on the 17-year-old’s cellphone.
He was also reportedly planning to drive to Wakulla County on Aug. 16 from Georgia, where he would pick the victim up and take her to another state to begin a sexual relationship.
A couple days later following his transport to Wakulla County from Georgia, CID Detectives interrogated Bubb. He admitted to the plan to pick up the victim and also admitted to sending the victim nude pictures of himself.
At the time of his arrest, Bubb was in possession of a cellphone. CID Detectives took the phone, obtained a search warrant to search the phone, and submitted it to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) for analysis.
On Tuesday, CID Detectives received the extracted data from the FDLE, which included 14 child pornographic videos involving Bubb and the victim. Each video had been transmitted via a social media application which corroborated statements made by the victim and Bubb.
CID Detectives made contact with Bubb in the Wakulla County Jail where he was still being held on the previous charges and charged him with 14 additional counts of possession of child pornography and 14 counts of the production of child pornography.
