LEON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — The Leon County Sheriff's Office has opened a death investigation after a 36-year-old man was found dead inside a Tallahassee home.
Deputies say they responded to a home in the 2000 block of Autumn Lane on Friday, Feb. 22 around 7 p.m.
When they arrived, they found 36-year-old James L. Smith dead inside the home. Deputies say they believe the death is suspicious in nature. LCSO Violent Crimes detectives and Crime Scene detectives were called in to continue the investigation.
LCSO says Smith was a resident at the home.
LCSO detectives are continuing to investigate and ask anyone with information to call the Sheriff’s Office at 850-606-5800.
