Second suspect in Live Oak pawn shop shooting, robbery captured in Tallahassee

LIVE OAK, Fla. (WTXL) — A Tallahassee woman has been arrested in connection with last month's gun robbery and shooting at Goldleaf Pawn Shop.

The Suwannee County Sheriff's Office arrested Victoria Fender, 35, on Sunday evening in Tallahassee for her involvement in the robbery at Gold Leaf Pawn Shop on April 20.

Deputies say an initial investigation into eyewitness accounts and store surveillance video revealed that Fender, and Jermar Tillie, who was arrested earlier this week, entered the store that afternoon before the robbery took place.

While one store employee was distracted, deputies say Tillie retrieved a handgun and shot the store owner numerous times.

The duo then left the scene in a 2016-2019 sliver Nissan Sentra.

Fender was transported to the Suwannee County Jail on Sunday.

She is being charged with robbery and attempted 1st degree murder.


The Suwannee County Sheriff's office has identified the woman who was involved in the shooting and gun robbery at Gold Leaf Pawn Shop on April 20.

A warrant has been issued for 35-year-old Victoria Mercedas Fender for armed robbery and attempted first degree murder.

Fender is believed to be in the Tallahassee area and is considered to be armed and dangerous.

Deputies say the incident happened on Monday, April 20 at the Goldleaf Pawn Shop on 129 South.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) along with the National Shooting Sports Foundation are offering a reward, up to $10,000, for information leading to the recovery of a firearm stolen during the robbery, and leading to the arrest of the suspect(s).
