TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) — A convicted felon is back behind bars after deputies found him in possession of a stolen shotgun.
According to the Leon County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to Avery Circle in regards to a suspect pointing a gun at a victim on Saturday.
When deputies arrived on scene, the victim was not there and couldn't be contacted.
LCSO says the suspect identified as Travis Reddick was still on scene. While deputies were speaking with Reddick they found a shotgun nearby
Documents say Reddick already had an outstanding warrant for his arrest and admitted that the shotgun belonged to him.
Deputies say prior to the incident, the shotgun had been reported stolen to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.
According to documents, Reddick was arrested and transported to the Leon County Detention Facility.
He is being charged with possession of firearm by a convicted felon and violation of probation.
